Parkin Builders is owned and operated by Logan and Alisha Parkin. Previously, Parkin Builders was in the trusted hands of Logan’s father, Greg who built homes in Katikati for 20 years. Logan and Alisha have an excellent long-standing relationship with their subcontractors and many small businesses and community organisations within Katikati and Waihi Beach.
At Parkin Builders we are wholeheartedly invested in your project and strive to maintain one major project at a time; this gives you the reassurance that you and your home are our top priority. Logan and Alisha are very proud to say that majority of our work comes from word-of-mouth referrals.

About me
MY NAME IS LOGAN
I started apprenticing for my dad, Greg Parkin, when I was 16, but even before then I was often on the building site. Parkin Builders has been in second generation hands for 7 years now. We have decided to stay in the small community of Katikati, where my wife Alisha and I are raising our own 2 young daughters (who just so happen to love to swing a hammer).
How we do it
Parkin builders build to a high standard and quality with the qualifications and skill backed by New Zealand Certified Builders and have the experience and confidence to take on a wide range of projects.
When trusted to build your home or project we know it is vital to have a team of skilled tradesmen dedicated to achieving the same goals. We have long term relationships with our subcontractors and have created a trust and an understanding of how we work. They are part of the design and build process and are involved in all communication, which results in high standards and quality work.
We strive to ensure our customers are kept well informed and supported to whatever level you need through the process. Building can be an intimidating and unknown process but it doesn't have to be that way. Logan and Alisha will sit alongside you every step of the way providing honest and transparent support. We are very thorough when pricing your project to ensure that it is achievable within your budget and there are no surprises at the end. We ensure that throughout the entire duration of the project decisions are made in conjunction with you.
